Oracle already has a growing & sizeable business in the Media & Entertainment Industry. Oracle continues to expand its capabilities for the M&E industry & is currently hiring an EMEA experienced solution specialist to support continued growth investment in Media.

The M&E Industry Team is a small elite team of industry specialists expanding market share & delivering an increased demand for Oracle’s media solutions.
M&E Industry Team delivers value by:
-Interpret & understand our media customer’s business requirements in context of key industry challenges & trends
-Position Oracle’s media industry-specific capabilities as viable business solutions; highlight Oracle’s success with industry peers / competitors
-Map best practice processes & supporting IT capabilities to M&E customers
-Communicate Oracle’s media industry strategy & vision
What will be expected from you?
You will provide thought leadership by communicating Oracle’s end-to-end value proposition for media supporting the local sales field across all product lines - to architect the desired solution.
You will be expected to have a good understanding of the media industry from a business perspective & be able to link this to an applications & technology platform. Furthermore you will be a key figure as a solution architect in any RFP, Demo or Proof of Concept scenario & leverage different resources from the virtual team.
Provide training to field sales on industry/solutions, & build & maintain a network & up to date specific industry knowledge will also be a part of the job.
• End to end solution architecture support on opportunities across the entire portfolio
• Support account strategy & planning across all product lines & discovery meetings with customers
• Support territory planning & management, engaging with regional & field sales boards to drive alignment.
Experience required?
• Deep knowledge & experience in sales with media clients
• In depth knowledge across various technologies such as CRM, SOA, etc. Billing knowledge is also advantageous. Experience preferable within Applications but not a prerequisite.
• Thorough knowledge of key industry leaders
• Ability to discuss key industry issues & business processes at multiple levels
• Be able to work easily across a virtual organization & driving alignment
• Ability to travel 30%-60% of time within EMEA
