QA ENGINEER – TEST LEAD

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Test Lead to be a part of the Product Development team

You will work closely with Development, Documentation & Product Management teams as well as with other QA teams based in different locations around the world

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as QA Test Lead on large projects & full components of the Oracle Communications Network Intelligence solution
• Working with technical leads and business analysts to review project documentation such as functional requirements, technical specifications and source to target information
• Reviewing requirements, participating in product design reviews and work with business and development team to make any design improvements and refinement.
• Identify, write & implement test strategy & plans
• Test features and API’s written in Java, working with the development team
• Developing of end to end business test scenarios in conjunction with the Product Management team to ensure that what is required by the customer is proven to be delivered
• Setting up the test environments across different application servers and Platforms.
• Execution of end-to-end tests & keeping logs of the progress & the results.
• Produce defect logs in the bug application tool for found faults
• Assist development of automated testing frameworks to allow the creation of testing environments
• Performing non-functional testing E.g. Usability, Load testing
• Share technical skills with colleagues and train new members of the QA team
Qualification
• Third Level Computer Science, Science or Engineering Degree
• Internationally recognized Testing qualification – ISEB/ISTQB Preferred

Professional Experience
• Minimum 7 years testing experience as Test Lead.
• Knowledge or experience of a structured test specification, design, development & execution methodology.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is desirable
• Strong automation experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Marathon or any open source tools etc is required
• Experience in telecom application testing
• Good to have knowledge of Inventory Management
• Experience of developing testing strategies & plans, test design & execution.
• Experience with creating Test Metrics and Dashboards
• Expertise with Oracle databases and SQL
• Experience with basic Windows NT/2k/XP, Linux, & Solaris administration tasks
• Good scripting skills like shell, Perl
