Wireless GSM Architect

Rate: £ 55 to £ 60 K (Permanent)
My client is a Global Services Provider who is seeking a Wireless GSM Architect for 2 sites one in London and Manchester.
The Wireless GSM Architect will take full responsibility for all wireless architecture activities including all software development, design and architecture. Work as part of a team defining the technical strategy and implementing an architecture governance function as well as evaluates and recommending all new or enhanced technologies that could improve current wireless software.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within Architecting SGSN Network Element Software (NE) as well as strong hands on experience with SGSN interfaces including viz Gs, Gr, Gd, Ge, Gn/Gp, Ga, S4, Gn, S3, Iu-ps/Gb. You will also have previous system architecture experience within 2G and 3G environments and have a good understanding of AGILE methodologies and 3GPP (LTE).
